My Mom worked so hard wrapping our presents, and Ruby could not wait to help us unwrap them! I think she had a good Hanukkah!
Silly Truly!
Mama and I were re-organizing my dresser. We pulled one of the drawers out, and when we tried to put it back in, well, you see what happened!
And when Mama took this picture, Ruby was just sitting there saying, "Sister, you are so silly!"
Truly's pretty pink tent!
Truly's tent is pretty, and it's pink, and she loves it so much! Sometimes she forgets about it, and then we move it to a new place, and it's like it's a brand new tent again!
Kitty in a tray!
Ruby is so weird! Mama had this tray sitting on the counter, and Ruby hopped inside and wouldn't come out!
Shabbat Kitty!
My Truly is a Shabbat Kitty! Every Erev Shabbat, as soon as Mama starts lighting the candles, Truly RUNS into the dining room and sits patiently next to the table while we do the blessings! Then, as soon as we start eating, Truly starts reaching up and smacking at Mama’s arm and telling her to give her some challah bread! And of course Mama does! And then Truly carries it over to the bench that Evan and I sit on, and she sits in between us and eats her challah bread and we all have a very lovely dinner together. Especially me and Truly!
The Naming of Cats
The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
It isn’t just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.
First of all, there’s the name that the family use daily,
Such as Peter, Augustus, Alonzo or James,
Such as Victor or Jonathan, George or Bill Bailey–
All of them sensible everyday names.
There are fancier names if you think they sound sweeter,
Some for the gentlemen, some for the dames:
Such as Plato, Admetus, Electra, Demeter–
But all of them sensible everyday names.
But I tell you, a cat needs a name that’s particular,
A name that’s peculiar, and more dignified,
Else how can he keep up his tail perpendicular,
Or spread out his whiskers, or cherish his pride?
Of names of this kind, I can give you a quorum,
Such as Munkustrap, Quaxo, or Coricopat,
Such as Bombalurina, or else Jellylorum-
Names that never belong to more than one cat.
But above and beyond there’s still one name left over,
And that is the name that you never will guess;
The name that no human research can discover–
But THE CAT HIMSELF KNOWS, and will never confess.
When you notice a cat in profound meditation,

Kitty in a coma!
Truly is in a coma! The once in a while coma! She wore herself out doing things! She's been running and jumping and stalking toys and bugs and Mama all day long!
Tomato stealer
Mom was cutting up tomatoes and when she left the room, Truly jumped up on the counter and stole a piece of tomato! Then she ran away and ate it! She gobbled it up! Then she came back for more!
Happy Independence Day!
My kitties got to go with me to watch the fireworks! We stayed in the car so it wasn't too noisy or buggy! There were lots of really nice fireworks! Happy Birthday America!
Trip to the vet
My kitties had to go to the vet to get their rabies shots. As soon as we took them out of their little kitty holders, Ruby started trying to make friends with everybody. Ruby couldn't wait to get out of her kitty holder.
Truly, on the other hand, did not want to leave her kitty holder. When we made her come out and closed up the door so she couldn't get back in, she started looking for places to hide! She ended up jumping into the cabinet where the trash can was and she stayed there until we had to get her out for her shot. Then she ran over to her kitty holder and jumped in that.
Ruby and the Newspaper
Ruby really loves the newspaper! We have to be careful not to let her near it until we have all finished reading!
Happy birthday to me... and to Truly too!
I had a great birthday! And Truly did too! She loved my balloon so much that she stole it and ran away with it!
Truly in a handbag!
Truly crawled in Mama's handbag, so we carried her around the house like that for a while. She liked it, and keeps trying to get back inside there!
Angry Ruby!
She showed her fangs because she had to have a bath! She was naughty and rolled in the dirt outside! And did she ever complain about it!
Laundry Star Trek Transporter

School time!
My kitties help me with my school work! Especially with my math and spelling. But usually by history they need a nap.
Vultures!
Mama also says it's very disconcerting to be stared at like this when she's making dinner. (Disconcerting is one of my new words!)
Truly's a stinker and she jumped on the bread while it was rising!

Truly really REALLY loves bread and steals it every chance she gets!
